The removal of case by case scrutiny for inter basin transfers is deeply concerning. Each watershed has distinct ecological balances that took centuries to develope. Moving water between basins without rigorous oversight risks introducing invasive species and altering chemical compositions in ways we cant easily reverse. Public feedback clearly indicated a preference for maintaining strict protections, so its frustrating to see Bill 7 moving foward with these changes.
The MLA’s under this government are not supporting the constituents. Our MLA is Fir and she only does what Smith says as is the case with so msny of them. They are an authoritarian regime.
