Alberta says No to ugly wind and solar farms; Yes to picturesque coal mines in the Canadian Rocky Mountains

Provinces suppresses clean energy development while promoting coal schemes of foreign speculators. Says wind and solar menaces "environment, food security and the province's scenery."

Danielle Smith liked this. Elkview, BC coal mine: Alberta premier wants some too.

"By conserving our environment, agricultural lands and beautiful viewscapes, our government is protecting and balancing Alberta’s long-term economic prosperity," said Utilities Minister Nathan Neudorf in a news release Friday.

"Our government will not apologize for putting Albertans ahead of corporate interests.”
