I really hope Corb Lund can be successful in stopping coal mining. Unfortunately, Danielle Smith and her UCP Criminal Organization passed Bill 14, the Destruction of Democracy Act. This will make it harder for Albertans to prevent the devastation of the Eastern Slopes and the poisoning of our rivers and waterways. It will make it easier for her separatist base to get their referendum into action in record time. Serves to confuse the issue of UCP cronies on the AER and the honesty with which they make decisiins.
Albertans need to organize and get boots on the ground in protesting the existence of this abomination that calls itself the Alberta Government. We need to demand an election. And we need to mobilize and get people to understand what is at stake and get them out to vote.

Corb , we totally support you . Admire your courage, leadership, integrity and commitment. Also admire your stance that this is not a partisan issue. But when the governing party is now manipulating the rules mid-game , except it’s not a game , it’s democracy. It’s the rights of all of us to have a say in how our province makes decisions and works. They think they can divide opposition into little groups that are fighting against specific bad policies. That can’t happen. We need to be together on no new coal mines , stripping rights of parents with trans kids, defunding public healthcare and public schools , diverting public money to mega profitable fossil fuel companies and essentially lobbying for them rather than ordinary albertans . We may not need to be partisan in supporting one of the opposing party but we need to be anti-partisan and boot these UCP dickheads out the door.
