Debate Challenge to Nathan Neudorf, Minister of Utilities & Affordability and MLA-Lethbridge East
Chris Spearman offers opportunity to Minister Neudorf.

From Chris Spearman:
On Wednesday, March 5, 2025, I participated in the panel discussion hosted by the Southern Alberta Council on Public Affairs ( SACPA ) in Lethbridge.
During my presentation, I noted that Minister of Utilities and Affordability and MLA-Lethbridge East Nathan Neudorf continues to support coal mining west of the Oldman River Watershed despite large public opposition and four unanimous votes against coal mining by Lethbridge city council.
In my remarks, I challenged MLA Neudorf to a public debate on coal mining and specifically on the the Grassy Mountain coal project.
I hope this debate can be held at the earliest opportunity so Minister and MLA Neudorf can explain to residents of Lethbridge why he continues to support coal mining that clearly threatens our water and our agri-food economy.

I think Neudorf will do the chicken, and not debate....because he hasn't got the cajones for a debate and he is likely on the Northback payroll. These UCP are dishonest brokers and moral cowards.
Neudorf told me that the agri/food industry shouldn't be harmed by coal-mining because it didn't impact in B.C. Kind of a circular argument that I would love to hear you refute, Mr. Spearman
