Absolutely right....Alberta and Albertans are the victims of corporate criminals who have laid waste to the subsurface and surface with fracking and abandoned leaking gas and oil infrastructure ...........Millions of dollars in taxes are owed to Alberta municipalities by bandir oil and gas companies...........Billions of dollars are required to cleanup orphan wells in the Province .... and that is not including the future cost of reclaiming the leaking Tarsands containment ponds.....and still the Pathways consortium of Tar miners wants $16billion in government subsidies for a CO2 pipeline and storage under the future F35 nuclear capable bomber base at Cold Lake so they can EXPAND production!

Lets not forget that the mighty Athabasca River in 2013 received the largest toxic spill into a North American river ever up to that time...( Eclipsed shortly after by the shocking Mt. Polley event in BC's Caribou)

The Obed spill was from a failed coalfield containment pond.

A $1million dollar fine was rendered......on a corporation that had bought out the miscreant corporation's assets......a mere line item on a corporate ledger!

Conservative and UCP environment criminals with a toothless, wholly corporate owned Energy Regulator that has had to change its name a couple of times because of its tattered reputation!

No Coaling on the Eastern Slope Saskatchewan Headwaters!
