Piikani prayer ceremony #3
This one on the Piikani First Nation
Hi all.
This coming Saturday, June 13th, at 10:00 AM we will be engaging once again with our Piikani brothers and sisters in the 3rd ceremony, the Buffalo Crossing Ceremony, at Bill English’s place on the Piikani reserve. Below are two directional maps, one oriented from Ft. Macleod, the other from Pincher Creek.
To spare any confusion at crossroads there will be blue arrows indicating direction. Taking note of the written distances on each leg of the route should be of help as well.
Once again, we’re hoping you can attend.
From Ft. Macleod:
Hwy 2 north to Hwy 785 heading towards Head Smashed In Buffalo Jump. Continue past to Range Rd. 280 and follow blue arrow signs from there to arrive at the Buffalo Crossing Ceremony location.
From Pincher Creek:
Hwy 3 east to Hwy 785. Continue east then north on 785 to Township Rd. 82 and follow blue signs from there to ceremony location.
See you there!
