Tis the season of rodeos and small town parades. The Chinook Water Alliance is continuing to spread the awareness of our threatened Eastern Slopes Watershed. In that effort there will be ongoing representation throughout the summer months with a presence in several town parades. Currently, tentative plans include Okotoks, June 14; Granum, July 1; Longview, July 19; Nanton, August 4; Claresholm; August 9; Lethbridge, August 19 and Pincher Creek, August 20. Staging Location: Facing North on Centre St./Highway 2A in High River
Parking: Royal Canadian Legion: 25 – 8th Ave. SE
Please wear a blue or green shirt if you have one(our team colours). We have pinnies available too.
Participants will follow the float carrying signs. The signs have messages about water, mountains, air and no coal mining. Curated Canadian sound track on Bluetooth. Drums welcome.
