Yesterday, March 16th, Lorne Fitch was interviewed by Nate Pike of The Breakdown which aired last evening at 8:00. For those who didn’t have the opportunity to watch it, the link to that broadcast is below. Nate’s questions were good and Lorne, as always, spoke eloquently with indisputable, scientific based facts.
Not everyone who reads these postings is in the anti-coal camp.
For those who would wonder why I would trust Lorne’s science and background, let me say this. Not only have I known Lorne for decades and consider him a good friend, but back in the days when he was in charge of the Habitats Branch within the Fish and Wildlife department of the Alberta Government (before the GoA deemed that department non-essential), and having worked with him in the past on fisheries issues, I know he is one of the most trustworthy and genuinely caring scientists in the country.
Lorne doesn’t, and has no need to blow a horn in order to taut his scientific acumen to impress anyone. It simply just IS. Truth can stand on its own. It may not always win but it will always be the truth.

Thanks to the lady who called out Danielle Smith on the coal mining issue at the Cardston town hall last week.
